About
Jasen Halmes came to Appistry after using Appistry’s software in a project at a large defense company. He has worked with Java and J2EE since their inception and has written software using multiple programming languages. He always enjoys discussing new technologies and how to leverage them to solve problems. Along with programming, Jasen has spent a great deal of time learning about the concept of patterns in software design. From the classic gang of four patterns to Fowler’s Enterprise patterns and the J2EE Core Patterns, the study of ways to make software development more efficient has been a constant exploration.
Jasen has worked as a Software Engineer, Software Architect, Dev Team Lead, Release Manager and other roles, but will always identify with the people who write the code. In his current role as a Technical Lead at Appistry he interacts with customers to help design solutions using the Appistry Enterprise Application Fabric.
