Application Packaging & Deployment

CloudIQ Manager enables the creation of intelligent, self-describing packages for custom or off-the-shelf applications, middleware and tools. Support for a variety of package types, including 3rd-party application servers, maximizes compatibility. The separation of packages and package configuration ensures reusability and enables the creation of standardized service libraries or "App Stores," which may be shared by an organization's users.

CloudIQ Manager provides one-step deployment across the underlying cloud infrastructure, independent of the number of physical or virtual servers. Deployment is fully automated, ensuring repeatability and minimizing downtime due to manual error.

Run-Time Management

The CloudIQ Manager run-time provides full lifecycle control over the services and applications deployed to the cloud. Each may be independently started, stopped or configured across tens or hundreds of servers with a single click or command. Rolling updates allow applications and services to be updated across many servers without downtime.

Health of deployed packages is continuously monitored, allowing for automated remediation of error states based on policy. Run-time version control ensures that the proper version of each package is deployed to each resource, eliminating the possibility of version skew and misconfiguration.

Unified Cloud Management Console & Open HTTP API

CloudIQ Manager includes CloudIQ Console, which provides a rich graphical view of clouds and applications. CloudIQ Console unifies the management of disparate cloud environments, allowing the at-a-glance monitoring of each and the easy drag-and-drop of resources between environments.

CloudIQ Manager exposes programmatic access to the cloud and its applications through a full-featured REST-based API. The CloudIQ Manager API supports integration with 3rd party management tools and the creation of branded self-service interfaces for your organization's users.
