With Appistry EnergySaver, your company can minimize the power consumed by data- and compute-intensive applications. EnergySaver operates on a simple yet powerful principle: data center power consumption is minimized by only using the number of CPUs required at any given moment.

Appistry EnergySaver allows administrators to easily define policies establishing acceptable system workload levels. EnergySaver constantly monitors system utilization and, based on the policy in effect, automatically powers down computers when application utilization is low and then reactivates them when additional capacity is required.
